Well tonight was not such a great night at the races...it was opening night and a full moon...two
things that like to tear up cars...The night started out pretty bad as during the Hot Laps Grant Wheeler (driving) and Jessie
Muth (throttle) slid high out of four and slapped the wall HARD...a few things were bent up and the front end needed to be
straightened out...
On to the Heat Race...Grant Wheeler was once again in the car driving and had Joe's daughter
Jacquie in doing the throttle...Started on the outside pole and jumped ahead at the green flag. Stayed ahead of the
pack until in turn three the car got loose and spun.
Main event was exciting...Once again the Wagon started in the front...Got out to a good start
and was holding on to second before getting stopped short right before the checkered flag. We ended up taking 7th place.
We look forward to seeing everyone on May 7th for the next race!!
